Blog/(Re)Thinking for a Living

After many months of thought and preparation, a new and improved Thinking for a Living™ is here. Truly, none of this would have been possible without my good friend J. Ellis of Athletics. Thanks to his idea of Del.ico.us integration and some clever server-side caching the site is now running smoothly and is smarter than ever. Updates are easier which means they will also be more frequent – and therefore more relevant.

You can now stay up to date with our Online and Print resources by subscribing to the Thinking for a Living™ Resources Feed, powered by Del.ico.us. We also now have a blog which you can follow by subscribing to the Thinking for a Living™ Blog Feed. The blog will cover a wide variety of topics and will include talented authors from various design related industries in order to help broaden our view of the world and the business of design. Get in touch with us if you have something newsworthy that you’d like to share.

Once again, thanks to all of those who have helped make Thinking for a Living™ what it is today. It’s been amazing to see this project grow thanks to the contributions of so many talented and passionate people. We hope that you find the site a useful resource and that you stick around to see what else we have up our sleeves.

Alvin Chan

After a year at Studio Dumbar, I decided to explore branding and worked at Brown KSDP, Amsterdam. Shortly after that, I joined internationally acclaimed design studio Koeweiden Postma. After working there for several years, I became co-creative director with Jacques Koeweiden. Currently, I am working as Design Director at Nike Europe in The Netherlands.
